With funding from the Swedish Council for Higher Education, Chalmers will provide around 35 IPOET scholarships to potential fee-paying students in 2023.

Scholarship worth, components, and length:

• A reduction of 75% in the cost of tuition for two academic years (four semesters).

• Students may qualify for an enhanced scholarship reduction, which covers 85% of the tuition in their second and final years of study, if they exhibit academic achievement in their first year of study.

• The scholarship recipients get no financial compensation.

The selection process is based on the applicants’ relative academic excellence, which is primarily determined by their weighted average grade. It also takes into account the prestige of the host university (including its standing on international ranking lists) and the application priority for Chalmers Master’s programs.

Application guidelines:

Applying requires that you first register online via the universityadmissions.se website for at least one of Chalmers’ Master’s programs between October 16, 2023 and January 15, 2024. Through their universityadmissions.se Master’s program application, each applicant obtains an application number that they need to complete the scholarship application.
