The program for AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarships

American University awards scholarships to worthy international students pursuing bachelor’s degrees and dedicated to influencing positive social and political change. It is intended for students who intend to go back to their native countries and improve underprivileged and under resourced areas there. The AU EGL scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, room and board, and other chargeable AU expenses for ONE foreign student who needs a visa to study in the US (preferably an F-1 or J-1 student visa).

Amherst College Financial Aid

Amherst College now offers a need-based financial aid application process for international students in need of help. An evaluation of your financial need comes after your acceptance. Following that, you’ll get a financial aid grant based on your actual need. It is sometimes referred to as a “aid package” since the reward may include both self-help (employment) and gift aid (scholarships and grants).

Berea College Financial Aid

Outstanding international applicants are eligible to apply to Columbia College for honors and scholarships. The prizes might be one-time cash gifts or tuition discounts ranging from 15% to 100%.

Concordia College Financial Aid

For new international students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, East Tennessee State University (ETSU) offers the International Students Academic Merit Scholarship. For undergraduate students, the scholarship is worth $12,500, and for graduate students, it is worth $5000-$9000 per academic year.

East West Center

Graduate students from Asia, the Pacific, and the United States can receive funding for up to 24 months to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral degree at the University of Hawaii while taking advantage of the East-West Center’s educational, residential, and leadership development programs. This is made possible by the East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship.

Emory College Financial Aid

A restricted number of overseas students are given need-based financial assistance awards by Emory College each year. Furthermore, overseas students are welcome to apply (by November 15) for partial to full merit-based scholarships through the Emory University Scholars Program.

Illinois Wesleyan University Scholarships

International candidates who meet the requirements and have demonstrated exceptional academic success and test results on the necessary admission examinations are eligible to apply for merit-based scholarships. These grants are renewable for a maximum of four years and range in value from $16,000 to $30,000. Furthermore, qualifying international students may be awarded up to two full-tuition President’s International Student Scholarships year for a maximum of four years of study.

Iowa State University International Merit Scholarships

A small number of merit scholarships are offered to first-year overseas students. Results from the SAT or ACT, together with high school grades and marks, are taken into competitive consideration. The yearly awards range from $2,000 to $10,000 and are renewable.

Michigan State University International Scholarships

Michigan University offers a limited number of graduate and undergraduate scholarships and grants to deserving overseas students. The goal of these financial assistance packages is not to pay for all of your education at MSU.

The Wagner Scholarships at New York University

Every application cycle, a restricted number of students, including those from abroad, are granted merit scholarships. The scholarships range from $25,000 to $47,000 and cover all or part of the cost of tuition.

Oregon University Scholarships

The University of Oregon awards scholarships and financial aid totaling more than $2.5 million annually to overseas students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. Wesleyan University Scholarships

International students can only get a very limited amount of financial help, which is distributed in accordance with both exceptional credentials and demonstrated need. Through the Freeman Asian Scholars Program, eleven exceptionally gifted Asian students get full scholarships to attend Wesleyan for four years in order to earn a bachelor’s degree. In addition to the 11 Freeman Asian Scholars, the University expects to provide financial aid to roughly 40–45 foreign students from a pool of about 2,800 international applicants.

University of the West Scholarships 

The US University of the West offers scholarships to incoming international students who achieve rigorous academic standards and demonstrate a need for financial aid. For new students, the yearly award ranges from $6,000 to $10,000. Continuing students can apply for the dean’s and president’s scholarships for 7.5–15 undergraduate units or 6–12 graduate units every semester.
